Racine Police: Man shot during armed robbery, transported by Flight for Life

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Racine man was shot during an armed robbery Wednesday afternoon.

It happened around 4:22 p.m. near 16th and Indiana.

The man was shot in the upper body, taken to a local hospital, and then flown by Flight for Life to Froedtert Hospital for treatment of his injuries.

Racine Police say that the victim's condition is unknown at this time.

The shooting remains under investigation.

Racine Police say they are looking at several persons of interest.
