Jacob Kittilstad greeted past bunnies of the old Lake Geneva Playboy Club who are preparing for the 50th Anniversary of the opening of the resort. Now in their 60s, 70s, and 80s – the former bunnies say they have tried to stay in touch through the years because the working experience was so positive. They say they were treated like celebrities around Lake Geneva and often were invited as guests of honor at local events. More than 100 bunnies are expected to attend the 50th Anniversary as well as more than 100 more past employees – and ahead of that, a group of four women visited the Racine & Me studio to show off memorabilia and show photos from their past. Next, one half of the electronic/dance music duo French Horn Rebellion dropped by during their brief tour of the Midwest. The pair is originally from Southeastern Wisconsin but Robert Perlick-Molinari says his main memory of Racine County is when he got a speeding ticket on I-94 and had to go to court in the city. The group is still moving fast – expanding their musical ideas with their studio You Too Can Woo. Joined by Pink Flamingo Rhythm Revue, viewers were also treated to a plugged/unplugged performance (of course accompanied by the French Horn). The upcoming production at the Racine Theatre Guild is Sister Act – and the women depicting Deloris Van Cartier and Mother Superior stopped by to talk about their preparations. They also reflected on their past experience with nuns (which admittedly was limited) before showing off their spectacular vocal ranges in a brief duet. Click here for show information

Lastly, Steel Doves is a new steel drum orchestra in the city of Racine put together by Angel Lawrie – and it would be an understatement to say that she had a diverse skill set. Examining her purely as a drummer, she has grown the band to the point that now she is planning larger concerts for the group. With the assistance of close to 20 people – young and old - she graced the program with a Caribbean-feeling cover version of “Don’t Stop Believin’” by Journey.
