Pop up showers continue Sunday

A few pop up showers impacted Fond du Lac and Sheboygan Counties Saturday afternoon and evening and a few more could be possible everywhere on Sunday. Sunday morning should start dry, but cloudy with the chance for showers and isolated storms moving in towards the afternoon and evening.

It won't be a washout, but a few downpours are possible similar to what we saw on Thursday and Friday. As the sun goes down Sunday evening the chance for rain will also decrease. By the time the rain finishes, rain totals will vary heavily depending on where you live. Most of southeast Wisconsin will see totals in the quarter inch to half an inch range, but if thunderstorms form totals could be a bit higher.

If you are going to the Wisconsin State Fair I would recommend the umbrella and other rain gear, but there are plenty of indoor activities to duck inside for while showers pass.

Download the CBS 58 Ready Weather app to track the showers as they move across the area.
