Police respond to fight over lab experiment at Case High School

MOUNT PLEASANT, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A suspect is now facing charges for a fight that happened back in September at Case High School. 

Police were notified of a fight between two students around 9 a.m.

The victim told police that she was working on a lab experiment with mud samples in class. While she was obtaining a mud sample, the suspect bumped into her, causing her mud to fall. The victim told police that she was angry and that she yelled at the suspect to clean up the mud.

The suspect refused. The two began to push each other and punches were thrown. The victim was punched in the left eye and went to the nurse's office.

It was determined that the 18-year-old suspect had violated the conditions of his bond which was not to engage in any further criminal offenses.

The suspect now faces charges of Disorderly Conduct and Felony Bail Jumping.
