MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Two inmates who left the the minimum-security Felmers Chaney Correctional Center in Milwaukee on Sunday, Sept. 26,have since been returned to the Wisconsin Department of Corrections (DOC) custody.
The incident occurred shortly before 12:30 a.m. Sunday when both men left the facility without permission. DOC notified Milwaukee police about the escape and a search began.
According DOC, one of the inmates, Denver Parkinson, turned himself in to Milwaukee police Sunday afternoon.
The second inmate, William Walton, was returned overnight, DOC officials announced Monday morning.
