UPDATE: MPD identify homicide victim, still searching for suspect

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – The Milwaukee Police Department is identifying the 42-year-old victim as Elandis D. Johnson.

Johnson died after being shot near 40th St. and Sheridan Ave. Police are continuing to seek a motive and suspect.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Milwaukee Police are investigating a homicide that left a 42-year-old man dead Sunday night.

According to the department, the Milwaukee man was shot during the incident near 40th St. and Sheridan Ave. around 10 p.m.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

MPD continues to seek a motive and suspect.
