Police: 26-year-old man shot inside vehicle after suspect approaches, demands valuables

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 26-year-old man is recovering after being shot overnight Saturday.

The shooting happened around midnight.

According to police, the victim was sitting in his vehicle when a suspect approached him and demanded valuables. The victim was shot during a struggle with the suspect.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Milwaukee Police did not immediately disclose the location of the shooting.

Police are still searching for suspects.

The investigation remains ongoing.
