People prep for extreme cold temperatures

MILWAUKEE - Local stores were packed Saturday with people preparing for the extremely cold temperatures headed for Wisconsin.

The Metro Mart in downtown Milwaukee had people getting supplies from the time it opened until it closed.

Metro Mart will close early at 8pm on Monday in order for employees to get home safely.

Bell Ambulance said they also have supplies like blankets, heat packs, and warm IV's ready.

They explained their own personel will also have to be vigilant working in the weather starting Sunday.

Bell will be keeping a close eye on their fleet of vehicles as well.

They said if you do go outside over the next few days, try to limit it to about 10 minutes.
