Owner of La Estacion, Diagnosed with MS, Completes Boston Marathon

Tony Marquez, owner of La Estacion in Waukesha, arrived home Tuesday night after Monday’s Boston Marathon.

Twenty years ago, he thought his life was over when he showed signs of paralysis and was diagnosed with MS.

Tuesday he became a Boston  Marathon finisher.

“It's very emotional. There were tears. There was a lot of pain in your body also. But there's a lot of joy also crossing the line it's like no other experience,” said Marquez.

Marquez said he plans to keep running.

His favorite spot is the Milwaukee’s lake front.

And he hopes to participate in future marathons.
