Overnight shooting investigation

The Milwaukee Police are investing the shooting of a 25-year-old man around 12:30 Friday morning.   According to the Police, the man was in the area of N 6^th Street and W Meinecke Avenue when he heard several gunshots and realized he had been hit.  The victim then went to a home at N 2^nd and W Center Streets and contacted the police.  The man was transported to a local hospital for treatment of a non-life threatening wound to his leg.   The MPD is investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
