Outbuilding at Whitnall Park Golf Course destroyed by fire

A building on the Whitnall Park Golf Course was damaged by fire early this morning. Around 3 o’clock the Franklin Fire and Police Departments were called to the scene of a structure fire near the 16th hole of the golf course. The outbuilding was considered a total loss with damage estimated at $80,000. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
