One dead after two car head-on crash in Jefferson County Wednesday evening

OAKLAND, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office responded to a two-car crash Wednesday evening just before 7 p.m. near State Highway 12 and Airport Road in the town of Oakland.
An initial investigation showed that a sedan driving east hit an SUV driving west head-on. The driver and passengers of the SUV sustained serious injuries and were taken to UW Hospital in Madison. The driver of the sedan was pronounced dead at the scene.
