Officer Narrowly Escapes Injury; Squad Damaged in Hit and Run

A Mount Pleasant Police Officer narrowly escapes injury after someone slammed into his vehicle and kept on going.

Here is a look at some of that damage.

The officer was responding to call around 10:30 last night on 16th street near Green Bay Road.

As the officer got out of his vehicle, he saw a car coming straight for him. he jumped back in and the door bore the brunt.

Now the search is one for the driver of a dark, sedan type car.
