MPD investigating multiple shootings Friday night and Saturday morning

The Milwaukee Police are investigating multiple shoots from Friday evening and early Saturday morning.

Around 5 PM Friday, Police were called to the  4500 block of S. 23rd Street were they found a 39-year-old man suffering with a serious gunshot wound.  The man is reported to be in critical condition at a local hospital where he is being treated for his injuries.   A suspect in the shooting was taken into custody at the scene.

Around 11:50 PM Friday, two teens were shot during an attempted robbery in the area of N 41st and W Courtland Avenue.   A 14-year-old male received a serious gunshot wound.   A 17-year-old male suffered a minor injury.   The Milwaukee Police said there are two suspects involved and the investigation of the case continues.

An attempted robbery around midnight resulted in a 21-year-old man getting shot.   The shooting happened while the man was sitting in his vehicle at N 53th Street  and W Villard Avenue.   The 20 year old male passenger was not injured. Detectives and officers are currently investigating the incident and searching for two suspects.

About a hour later, a 38-year-old man walked into a local hospital with a non-fatal gunshot wound.   The shooting is believed to have happened in the area of N 8th and W Hadley Streets .   The MPD is investigating the incident, looking for a motive and any suspects in the incident.

A man in his 20s received what is described as a serious gunshot wound around 3 AM Saturday.  The man was shot while in the area of S 13th and W Rogers Streets.   The man was taken to a local hospital for treatment of his wounds.   The MPD is continuing to investigate the circumstance surrounding the shooting.
