MPD: 2 arrested following carjacking, pursuit near 31st and Villard

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Milwaukee Police say two teenagers are in custody after a carjacking and police pursuit Thursday morning.

According to police, officers initiated a pursuit following the carjacking near 31^st and Villard.

Authorities say the chase continued down Brown Deer Rd. and into Whitefish Bay but ended near Lake Dr. and School Rd. after the teens ran over stop sticks.

One of the teenagers was immediately arrested, the other was taken into custody after a search of the area.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Milwaukee Police say one person is in custody and authorities are searching for another suspect in a carjacking and chase Thursday morning.

According to police, officers initiated a pursuit early Thursday morning following the carjacking near 31^st and Villard.

Authorities say the chase continued down Brown Deer Rd. and into Whitefish Bay but ended near Lake Dr. and School Rd. after the suspects got out of the car. 

Police continue to search for the other suspect.
