Shades of gray continue across the area. We've had the milder temperatures this week, but at the price of a melting snowpack and tons of fog. As of now, the Dense Fog Advisory has been extended until 9pm. Visibility has often stayed under a quarter of a mile in many areas. As we head into the evening, the focus shifts a bit to incoming rain.
Steady rain looks likely right through the overnight. And totals may reach a half inch in northern spots and up to an inch for southern locations. At this point there's growing chances some of the typical flood prone areas may see their water level reach flood stage, something to keep an eye on the next few days. The good news is we'll have a solid chance to dry out over the weekend.
