Milwaukee Police respond to two separate shootings Monday night

(MILWAUKEE) -- Milwaukee Police are investigating two shooting incidents that happened on Monday night. 

According to police, they responded to a local hospital for an 18-year-old Milwaukee man with non-life threatening gunshot injuries. The incident happened near N. 76th St. and W. Burleigh St. around 10 p.m. 

MPD is currently investigating the circumstances and motive behind the incident.

Police were also called to another local hospital for an 18-year-old Milwaukee man with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

According to police, the incident occurred near N. 12th St. and W. North Ave. around 10:55 p.m. A 29-year-old man was taken into custody at the scene. 

The investigation into this incident, the motive, and the involvement of the in-custody individual is ongoing.
