Milwaukee police make 65 arrests during prostitution sweeps

MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Police Department will update the public on their new effort to stop prostitution on the Milwaukee's south side.

Police instituted new tactics during sweeps that began in August. Police can have the vehicles of alleged prostitution customers towed away, and plans are in the works to release the mugshots of those alleged customers.

The Milwaukee Police Department reports they've made 65 arrests since these new prostitution sweeps began.
