Milwaukee Police Investigate a Shooting Near McGovern Park

Milwaukee Police are investigating a shooting that occurred at 8:50PM in the 5400 block of N. 51^st Blvd, McGovern Park.

A 17-year-old male standing in the basketball area was struck by gunfire when two other males began to shoot at each other. The victim was transported to a local hospital for an injury that is not believed to be life-threatening. Milwaukee Police Department is continuing to investigate this shooting and will provide more details as they come in.
