Milwaukee Police: 39-year-old shot during attempted armed robbery near 35th and Garfield

MILWAUKEE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police are currently investigating a robbery-related shooting.

It happened around 5:20 p.m. on November 25 in the 2200 block of N. 35th Street.

According to police, the 39-year-old victim was shot by an unknown male suspect during an attempted armed robbery. The suspect then fled the scene.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of what is believed to be non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation remains ongoing.
