15-year-old boy dies from injuries in shooting; 16-year-old girl arrested

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 15-year-old Milwaukee boy injured in a shooting on March 1, has passed away.
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office identified the boy as Jose Monarrez.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 15-year-old Milwaukee boy was injured in a shooting near South 6th and Becher Streets.
According to Milwaukee police, it happened just before 10:15 a.m. on Wednesday, March 1.
Police say a 16-year-old Milwaukee girl was arrested in connection to the shooting.
The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation.
Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the upcoming days.
