Milwaukee County Bomb Squad called to Landmark Credit Union

WEST MILWAUKEE -- Members of the Milwaukee County bomb squad were called to the scene of a robbery at the Landmark Credit Union on National Ave. They checked on a suspicious package left during the robbery.

West Milwaukee Police Chief Dennis Nasci says the robber appears to have left what looks like a bomb behind the credit union. Landmark Credit Union employees were evacuated.

The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office deployed its explosive ordinance disposal robot. The suspicious package was determined to be nothing, and police are now focused on catching the bank robber.

Police have yet to release any description of the robber.
