MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Bucks are set to host a special event to promote inclusiveness within Milwaukee.

The team will celebrate Pride Night during their Monday, Jan. 8 game against the Utah Jazz at 7 p.m. at Fiserv Forum.

Entertainment will go beyond the basketball court, as the celebration will feature guest DJs, including DJ Boyfrrriend, DJ Travvy Trav, Femme Noir and James Jaxin. A unique halftime show is planned, showcasing a vow renewal ceremony and performances by local LGBTQ+ artists and musicians.

Throughout the evening, the acronym LOVE will be used to showcase local LGBTQ+ stories and causes.

'V' stands for Volunteerism, with a focus on the Bucks’ Pride Employee Resource Group and Froedtert & MCW’s LGBTQA Business Resource Group. Lastly, 'E' emphasizes Education, highlighting the work that went into establishing Wisconsin's first LGBTQ landmark, Black Nite.

Exclusive Pride Night merchandise is available for purchase at the Bucks Pro Shop at Fiserv Forum and online. The proceeds from the sale of a special Pride Night T-shirt will support the Milwaukee LGBT Community Center's ongoing efforts within the community.
