Milwaukee Bucks debut 2023-24 City Edition uniforms with iconic colors

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Bucks have rolled out their City Edition uniforms for the 2023-24 season, showcasing a design that incorporates Great Lakes Blue and a new lighter blue tone. The uniform's color scheme continues a tradition with Great Lakes Blue, a hue that joined the Bucks color palette in 2015, symbolic of Milwaukee's waterways.

The inaugural appearance of the City Edition uniforms will be at the Fiserv Forum on Thursday, Nov. 3, during the team's clash with the New York Knicks as part of the NBA's inaugural In Season Tournament.

A total of seven home games will feature the new jerseys, including matchups against teams that were part of the 2021 playoff journey, and will be accompanied by an alternate City Edition court at Fiserv Forum.

The Bucks' new uniform design aims to pay tribute to the community spirit and diversity of their supporters. The team's statement, outlined in a press release on Thursday, Nov. 2, reflects on the inspiration sourced from the electrifying crowds that gathered in Deer District during their 2021 championship run.

The design elements like the curved banner on the jersey emulate the architecture of Fiserv Forum, with the goal of creating a connection between the fans' energy and the team's home ground.

The City Edition jerseys will be available for purchase at the Bucks Pro Shop at Fiserv Forum at 11 a.m. on Thursday and are also available online by clicking here.
