SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN (CBS 58) -- As of Jan. 17, Southeast Wisconsin is experiencing the warmest January since records started to be kept in 1871.

Steve Gastrau, owner of Gastrau's Golf Center in Oak Creek, says people are taking advantage.
"Busier this January than any other January," he said.
Gastrau says for 25 years, he has been open year-round, but for the first time he doesn't have to plow the snow off the driving range.
While many are enjoying the break from the "frozen tundra," we caught up with Michael near the lakefront who says he wouldn't mind a taste of winter.
"I feel sorry for the men and women who have snow plowing businesses, people who snowboard...the kids who are sledding at the hills," he said.
Winter weather is on the way, with snow in the forecast for parts of our viewing area this week.
