Temperatures to kick off the new work and school week hover around average for Monday and Tuesday with lows in the 20s and highs in the middle to upper 30s. Wednesday starts another warm up with highs around 40 then upper 40s are on the way for the end of the weekend with a round of mild air and maybe even a few isolated 50s.
The longer temperature trend is also looking mild. The 8-14 day trend takes us into Christmas Eve with a 70% chance for above average temps going into the holiday. The average high by that point of the month is 35* so expect upper 30s and 40s for highs heading into the holiday.
All of this warmth in December isn't good news for those of you wanting a White Christmas. And even then, there's no big storms on the horizon as we head into the holiday. Our White Christmas forecast is now down to 20% with 14 days to go!
