Man shot while seated in vehicle on Fond du Lac Avenue Friday night

MILWAUKEE, WI (CBS 58) -- A 23-year-old man walked into a Milwaukee hospital with a non-fatal gunshot wound Friday night.   According to the Milwaukee Police, the man around 9:45 PM, he and several friends were sitting in his vehicle in the area W Fond du Lac Avenue and N Sherman Boulevard when it was approached by two suspicious people.    Before the suspects could say anything, the victim said as he drove away.   One of suspects pulled a weapon and fired several gunshots at the vehicle, striking the victim.   No one else in the vehicle was reported to be injured.

The MPD is investigating the incident further and is searching for the suspects.
