Man shot at school playground

MILWAUKEE-- Ella Coleman was beside herself when police told her what happened to her son Anthony.



\"It hurts to find out your son got shot,\" said Coleman.



Witnesses say 27-year old Anthony Coleman was shot in the back while playing basketball at a Hawthorne Public School's playground.



\"It's really sad because there's other kids out here, you know innocent bystanders, little kids,\" said Coleman. 



Anthony is expected to survive.



\"They said he's still alert, whatever, but they need see him to the operation room,\" said Coleman.  



Many neighbors called 911 when they heard several gunshots fired.



\"I saw people running from the playground, and once every had scattered, I saw someone was still lying there,\" said Erica McCord, who lives nearby.



The latest in a string of shooting that have many families fearful.



\"You need to get the guns off the street, I'll be glad when they do,\" said Coleman.



Coleman says she lost a son in a shooting 14 years ago, and was relieved when police told her Anthony was still alive.
