Man shot while walking near Hopkins and Courtland in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 19-year-old man was hurt in a Friday morning shooting, while walking near N. Hopkins St. and W. Courtland Ave.

Milwaukee Police were called to the scene around 12:19 a.m. to investigate. 

According to police, the victim was walking in the area when an unknown subject fired shots. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. 

MPD continues to search for suspects.
