Man arrested after argument leads to stabbing in Ozaukee County

The Ozaukee County Sheriff's Office received two 911 hang-up calls on Monday morning.

They were able to determine that the calls were made from the area of Main Street and Eleavator Lane in the Village of Belgium.

Responding deputies located a 20-year-old man from Texas who was bleeding from his arm.

According to the Sheriff's Office, investigation reveals that the two subjects were involved in an argument which resulted in the victim being stabbed with a broken beer bottle.

The 25-year-old suspect, also from Texas, was taken into custody without incident. Charges are currently pending.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of what is believed to be non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation remains ongoing.
