Man, 62, killed in Vilas County snowmobile accident

VILAS COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 62-year-old man was killed in a snowmobile accident on March 20.
It happened on Found Lake Road in the Town of St. Germain.
Investigators say the victim was operating the snowmobile westbound in the eastbound lane when he struck an eastbound vehicle.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Speed appears to be a contributing factor, the Vilas County Sheriff's Office said.
The accident remains under investigation.
