Local Police Offering Cash Reward for Subway Robbery

The City of Jefferson Police Department and Crimestoppers are offering a cash reward for any information on the suspect in an armed robbery at the Jefferson Subway located at 139 Collins Road in the City of Jefferson.

According to Jefferson Police Department, on Saturday around 9:19 pm officers responded to and investigated the report of the robbery.

The suspect is identified as a lone black male 5’8’’ to 5’10’’ 150 lbs clean shaven wearing a black knit cap, sunglasses, dark navy hooded sweatshirt with light blue hood liner, black pants, shoes and gloves. This suspect entered the store, displayed a handgun to an employee, and ran off on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police said there were no injuries as a result of this incident, and the Jefferson Police Department has no reason to believe there is a danger to the community at this time.
