Lannon Police looking for witness of BP gas station robbery

LANNON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- On Wednesday, January 17 a BP Gas Station on Main Street in the village of Lannon was robbed by an armed man. The robbery took place around 7:10 p.m.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 20s. He was wearing a grey hooded-sweatshirt with dark writing and a circular design on the front. He was also wearing dark jeans and gloves.

After the suspect walked to the gas station, he showed a revolver-style handgun and demanded money from the clerk. No injuries were sustained and the suspect left with an undetermined amount of cash.

Police believe the man had a car waiting for him.

Lannon Police are looking for a witness who may be able to provide a better description of the suspect. A man entered the gas station in a bright-colored vest just as the suspect entered the store. The customer got gas and merchandise before getting back into his SUV that had silver trim on the bottom. Police believe the SUV was either a Chevy Tahoe or Cadillac Escalade. Police are asking that man to contact them to help them find the suspect.
