Lake Express Ferry celebrates 15th season of carrying passengers and their cars across Lake Michigan

Depending on traffic it will take you roughly 5 hours to drive the 276 miles between Milwaukee and Muskegon, Michigan. But there is a shorter way.

Over the past 15 years of Lake Express Ferry rides more than one million passengers have made the 80-mile journey. On CBS 58 Sunday Morning, Michael Schlesinger took viewers up to the captain’s cabin for an inside look at the voyage across the lake.
