Kenosha Police investigate reports of shots fired at "after bar" party

KENOSHA, WI (CBS 58) -- Around 3:30 Saturday morning the Kenosha Police received numerous calls of gun shots being fired at an “after bar” party in the area of 63rd Street and 24th Avenue. According to the KPD, about 150 people were attending the after bar party when someone claimed that shots were fired, but no one reported begin injured by the gunfire. The Police were also told that one person was dragged by a vehicle, but according to the Police, that report is unsubstantiated.

Around 5:25 AM, a woman walked into the Kenosha hospital seeking treatment for what is described as a superficial facial injury Police are attempting to determine if she was injured in the earlier incident, but at this time they cannot make that connection.

The Kenosha Police are continuing to investigate both incidents.
