Kenosha County Sheriff's Department: 29 theft cases cleared with arrest of four suspects

KENOSHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- More than two dozen theft cases have been cleared with the arrest of four people according to the Kenosha County Sheriff's Department. 

The Sheriff's Department says between June 21 and July 5 they had been investigating about 35 reports of items being taken from unlocked vehicles. Deputies say most of the crimes happened in the Salem Lakes area. 

Authorities say their investigation led to the arrest of four people and the clearance of 29 individual cases. According to the Sheriff's Department, deputies found stolen property and evidence linking the suspects to the crimes after getting a warrant to search a home. 

Charges against the suspects, which range in age from 27 years old to 47 years old are pending. 

The Kenosha County Sheriff's Department is reminding residents to make sure to keep their doors locked.
