Jennings 'messing around' with past comments on Rodgers

Former Packer and current Vikings wide receiver Greg Jennings said he was joking about comments he made this summer questioning Aaron Rodgers leadership in a conference call Wednesday.

\"I have the utmost respect for that organization,\" Jennings said about the Packers. \"It wasn't meant to hurt anyone. It was really just messing around.\"

Jennings said he still has contact with current Packers and that he has the same respect for them now as when he played in Gren Bay

When asked if he wishes Rodgers was still his quarterback, Jennings said 'No.'

\"God has blessed me to move on from that,\" Jennings said.

The Vikings receiver is tied for second on the team in catches with 24 and has two touchdowns in six games with Minnesota.

He'll face his former team Sunday night at the Metrodome.
