Jazz in Park canceled due to potential severe weather

Jazz in the Park has been canceled due to potential severe weather, according to Jazz in the Park's Facebook page.

According to CBS 58's meteorologist Lance Hill the southern half of our viewing area is in a slight risk for severe thunderstorms. The greatest threats are damaging winds and heavy rains between 6pm – 2am. A low pressure system is expected to track from Iowa to Southern Wisconsin tonight through Friday morning. Scattered Showers are expected today ahead of this system. As the storm approaches tonight, the atmosphere becomes more supportive of thunderstorms. A few of these storms could produce damaging winds, large hail and torrential downpours. The rain is forecast to end during the Friday morning rush.?
