History of Brewing Exhibit Opens at Milwaukee Historical Society

The Milwaukee County Historical Society for its new exhibit on the history of brewing in Milwaukee

It's now open downtown.

It features all kinds of artifacts from breweries and beers of the past.

There are beer can, bottles, kegs and even a beer wagon.

The exhibit begins in 1840 and includes some rare items.

They have the only blue ribbons that Pabst ever actually won. 

Turns out it was for their draft horses at the 1904 World's Fair.

The toughest job was going through all the material that was collected.

The exhibit continues in its full format through April.

A condensed version will be on display through the summer.
