Hayes named preseason All-Big Ten

MADISON – The Badgers men's basketball team enters 2016-17 with high expectations, but Nigel Hayes is already in the spotlight well before the Badgers' first game.
Wisconsin senior Nigel Hayes was named Big Ten Preseason Player of the Year by a vote of the league’s media. The Big Ten also released its preseason All-Conference team which in addition to Hayes, included UW senior Bronson Koenig and sophomore Ethan Happ.
Hayes is one of four Badgers to have received the preseason All-Big Ten honor over the last 14 seasons.
