Great Lakes Pet Expo Taking Place at State Fair Grounds this Saturday

Great Lakes Pet Expo will take place on Saturday, February 4, 2017 from 9AM to 6PM, at the Wisconsin Exposition Center at State Fair Park in West Allis, WI.

Hundreds of adoptable animals from local shelters and rescues will be available.

The event will include a Puppy Bowl.

A VIP Shopping Hour will be held from 9am-10am with tickets available to the first 2,000 people and they will go fast.

Advance tickets for the VIP Shopping Hour and for General Expo Admission are available now for purchase at www.petexpomilwaukee.com.

Local firefighters will compete against canine agility stars.

There will also be dancing horses.

VIP Shopping Hour admission is $15 (ages 13 & up) and $3 for kids (5-12), General Expo Admission (ages 13 & up) is $7 from 10AM-3PM, Reduced General Expo Adult Admission is $5 from 3PM-6PM. FREE admission for children 12 and under, and veterans with military ID from 10AM-6PM.

All admission proceeds from the event benefit AWARE, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of companion animals in Wisconsin.

Personal pets will not be allowed at the GLPE, but service dogs are welcome.
