Graco recalls highchairs sold at Walmart due to fall hazard

WASHINGTON (CBS 58) -- Graco is recalling 36,000 highchairs after five children were injured when their highchair fell over while they were in it.

The company says they've received 38 reports of the rear leg pivoting out of position which poses a fall hazard to children. The recall involves the Graco Table2Table 6-in-1 highchairs with model number 196721. The highchairs can convert to six different modes and the cushion is white with gold and gray polka dots. The model number is printed on a label found underneath the toddler seat and on a label on the back of the booster seat.

The highchairs were sold exclusively at Walmart between October 2016 and December 2017 for about $100.

Those who have the affected highchair should immediately stop using it and contact the company for a free repair kit.
