Some Finnish flair takes over Cedarburg for today only. The traveling sauna, pronounced sow-nuh by the Finns, is at the community pool all day. This therapeutic room, heated by a wooden stove from Finland, has traveled at least eight thousand miles all across America to highlight one of biggest exports of this Scandinavian country. It also commemorates this nation's 100 years of independence.
You can see the sauna until 8 this evening at the Cedarburg Community Pool off Evergreen Boulevard. You can also take a dip in the pool, and there's even a beer garden. The cost of admission is $10.
