Racine students take pledge against gun violence
The West Allis Police are looking for a man that robbed the George Webb Restaurant at S 72nd and W Greenfield early this morning. According to the Police, sometime before 12:45 AM a man in his mid 30s entered the restaurant ordered a meal and ate. When he was finished, the Police said the man waited until all the other patrons had left and then he demanded the money from the cash register. The man told the employee he had a gun and would harm her if she did not cooperate, but he did not display any weapon during the robbery. When he left it is not known which direction the man fled or if the suspect had a vehicle.
The robber is described as a white male, mid 30s, about 5’ 8” tall with a thin build and a short “scruffy” beard. The suspect was wearing a navy blue baseball cap with an unknown white design, navy blue long sleeve jacket and blue jeans.
