Gas leak near UW Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE-Firefighters and We Energies called to the neighborhood near Kenwood Blvd. and Stowell Ave. Friday looking for a gas leak.
The area of the search is across the street from the UW Milwaukee campus.
As of 9:30 p.m. no evacuation were ordered.
Crews on the scene told CBS 58 News that high gas readings are coming from man hole covers.
At around 10 p.m., We Energies said crews had located the leak and that the call had been downgraded.
Crews were xpected to remain on scene to repair the leak.
