Deputies spoke with a 43-year-old Milwaukee man who said he was reading a book while waiting for his son and was surprised when someone opened the driver's side door to his car. He told investigators he remembers being attacked by several people and was knocked unconscious. The man told detectives when he came to, his car was gone and he was bleeding from the head.

Surveillance video from the Urban Ecology Center showed four young men standing around a vehicle near the victim's car. One suspect then walked over to the victim's car, opened the driver's door while another got into the victim's car from the passenger's side. The video shows the victim was then hit from behind and knocked unconscious. Three of the suspects then got into the victim's car and sped away from the scene, nearly running the victim over. Randall said he eventually caught up with the others and got the car from them.

Following, Randall's interview, Fisher was taken into custody. According to the criminal complaint, Fisher admitted he was part of the group that carjacked the victim and that the 16-year-old came up with the plan. He said that when he saw the victim fall to the ground, he got into the car and drove it away.

If convicted, Randall and Fisher could spend 21 years in prison. Randall could face an additional six years for the bail jumping charge.
