Four injured in separate shootings Sunday morning in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The first of several non-fatal shooting Sunday morning was reported around 4:20 AM in the area of N 35th Street and W Villard Avenue.   According to the Milwaukee Police a 24-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman were shot under circumstances that are still under investigation.   The man received a serious gunshot wound and the woman receives a non-life threatening wound.  Both are being treated at a local hospital.   The MPD is seeking a motive for the shooting and is searching for suspects.

Around 8 AM, a 27-year-old man was shot during a robbery.   According to the Police, the shooting happened near N 52nd and W Chambers Streets.   The Police report says the victim was approached by two suspects who stole money from him and then shot him.  The suspects then fled the scene.   The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of a non-life threatening wound.

A third shooting happened around 11:40 AM Sunday in the area of N Sherman Boulevard and W Center Street.   According to the MPD, the circumstances surrounding the shooting of an adult male are unclear at this time.   The man received a serious injury and is being treated at a local hospital.   The MPD is continuing to investigate the shooting and is searching for suspects.
