Flatbed truck found in Illinois after it was stolen from lawn business in Belgium

Updated at 4:55 p.m. on Feb. 8. OZAUKEE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- According to the Ozaukee County Sheriff's Office, the white flatbed pickup truck that was stolen from Nate's Lawn Maintenance was located and recovered. It was discovered in Naperville, Illinois, and is in the process of being returned to the owner. 

The stolen 2023 D&K gooseneck style trailer, and a 2023 Caterpillar Compact Track Loader are still missing and believed to be transported to Illinois. The suspects have not been identified and no arrests have been made, according to officials. 


OZAUKEE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Ozaukee County officials are investigating after property was stolen from the parking lot of a lawn maintenance business in the village of Belgium. 

According to the Ozaukee County Sheriff's Office, the theft happened some time over the weekend, Feb. 2-4, at Nate's Lawn Maintenance -- located at 970 Jer Mar Road.

Officials say the suspect(s) forced entry to the business parking lot through a fence and lock that were cut. 

A 2022 Ford F350 white flatbed pick-up truck, a 2023 D&K gooseneck style trailer, and a 2023 Caterpillar Compact Track Loader were stolen. Several other equipment items were moved within the property or damaged. The total value of the items stolen is believed to be approximately $161,000.

Officials believe the stolen items have been moved out of state. 

The incident remains under investigation.
