MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The final piece of steel was lifted into place at the Milwaukee School of Engineering's $34 million artificial intelligence and computer science academic facility.
Students and faculty signed the beam before it was put into place.
"This combination of education and applied research coupled with corporate collaboration will have a transformational effect on our region and beyond. A ripple effect that is starting right here," said Dr. John Walz, President of MSOE.
The building comes with the addition of the college's new computer science Bachelor's degree. Classes begin at the new hall in September of 2019.
