FBI offering $5,000 for Shorewood pharmacy robberies

SHOREWOOD -- The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Milwaukee Division and the Shorewood Police Department are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect(s) responsible for multiple armed robberies of Hayek’s Pharmacy located at 4001 N. Downer Avenue, Shorewood, WI, which occurred on the following dates:



  • 01/24/2014 at 9:07 a.m.

  • 04/26/2014 at 8:53 a.m.

  • 05/19/2014 at 3:56 a.m.

  • 07/13/2014 at 9:13 a.m.


The unidentified suspect is described as a black male, wearing a black mask, hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled up, glove and carrying a black revolver.

 

During the latest robbery on 07/13/14, the suspect was described as wearing a nylon stocking to cover his face, black t-shirt with a red shirt underneath, a red colored Cincinnati Reds baseball hat, armed with a black revolver.

 

During each robbery, the suspect has either threatened or used physical violence, and during one of the incidents discharged a firearm inside the pharmacy.

 

The FBI has initiated an investigation under the federal Hobbs Act (18 U.S.C. § 1951) which prohibits actual or attempted robbery or extortion affecting interstate or foreign commerce and will be worked by the FBI Milwaukee Area Violent Crimes Task Force.

 

The FBI is offering a REWARD of $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the robberies of Hayek’s Pharmacy in Shorewood.
